Peace of God
God wants you to experience that supernatural peace you feel every Sunday at Beach Church every day of this New Year.
Below, are some ways God wants us to experience and manifest His peace.
1. God wants us to experience a spiritual peace with Him.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:18:
“God ... sent Christ to make peace between Himself and us.”
God doesn’t want us to live disconnected from Him. But let us all remember Peace with God doesn’t come from something we do. Peace with God comes from what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.
2. God also wants us to know His Peace within us.
The Bible has a word for this type of emotional peace. It’s called the “peace of God”
The bible says in Colossians 3:15:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts”
3. God wants us to experience Peace with others.
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:16:
“Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of His death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.”
The further we are from God, the more our relationships with others are strained and challenged. The way to have lasting peace with others is to be united as children of God.
Ask yourself today, what peace above needs strengthening and then ask God for help in that area. I promise you, if you ask Him, He shall deliver.
I look forward to seeing you all Sunday.
