Jesus Christ the real superhero

In 2014, we wrote our first book called Jesus Christ: The Real Superhero for our then-three-year-old son, Luke, who was born fascinated with every superhero from Spiderman to Superman. It was like he had a “Superhero DNA” chip implanted into him! The book leverages children’s natural interest in fictional superheroes to suggest that a relationship with Jesus Christ – “The Real Superhero” – makes it possible for them to harness the Holy Spirit powers as well. First, we compare Jesus Christ to popular fictional superheroes. Then, using friendly easy-to-read text, colorful pictures, we invite children to become “Junior Superheroes” (disciples for the Kingdom of God). We highlight examples of good character, how to use spiritual weapons (our son especially loved this part), and how to use prayer to activate the Holy Spirit’s power within. “Jesus Christ The Real Superhero has become one of the most downloaded books in its category since being available online”
