Every Good Gift

Sometimes we look for God in the big miracles, but forget to see Him in the small, steady gifts. James 1:17 brings us back to center: Every good and perfect gift comes from our Father.

That means the clean sheets, the smile of someone you love, the breath in your lungs, the semi-warm cup of coffee on Cabo Beach Church before services, the sun on your face, the food on your table—these are all wrapped in God’s kindness.

We often rush through blessings without thanking the Giver. But when we pause, our hearts begin to swell with gratitude, and we realize: we are already surrounded by His goodness.

Gratitude is one of the quickest paths to joy. It realigns our perspective and helps us live with wonder.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for every gift, big and small. Help me slow down and recognize Your hand in my day. Make my heart soft with gratitude and alive with wonder. Let me never take Your goodness for granted.

Journaling Prompt:

Joy Prompt:
