Walking In Our Christ Identity
Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Faith,
I wanted to follow up to last week’s message on how to fight back insecurities by replacing old and current feelings and emotions with biblical facts and accepting that in Christ you’re a new creation.
As the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:7 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
You see, insecurities are born by having believed lies about ourselves which then got rooted into our core believe system which then dictated how we see and conduct ourselves internally and externally.
Thus, what we need to do is start replacing the lies with facts from who God says we are!
As Jesus said: “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:32
The below attached identity document are the biblical facts that we need to imbed into our own core believes.
I promise you a radical transformation from insecurity to security if you study and follow the steps in the attached identity document. So that we can share the same confidence of who we are in Christ with the great apostle Paul as he shared with us in the letter to the Galatians 2:20.
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Go through the document slowly, perhaps even just working through one identity statement a week so it truly gets imbedded and weaved into your being.
I’ve laid witness to this spiritual exercise creating powerful life changes in many brothers and sisters of the faith.
Once you truly know, understand and believe “you are accepted by God” as it says in the book of Romans 15:7, you will never have to look for it from other people.
Let’s keep walking up the path as God has so many blessings waiting for us all as it’s says in Jeremiah 11:29
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”
God bless you all,
Pastor Rick
