Freedom

Greetings everyone,

Before, you read the midweek message will you join me in listening to one of my favorite worship songs about thanking Jesus?

As praising Jesus unleashes so much joy upon us while making our Heavenly Father smile down so brightly.

So in accordance with Psalms 95:6 “Let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.”

Ok, now that we got that “Attitude of Gratitude” stirred up.   I want to follow up to last Sunday’s message. In which, I highlighted a scripture from the book of John.

“You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

I wanted to humbly suggest that we keep the joy stirred up today by reflecting on what God has personally set us free from.

Did he free you from insecurity, loneliness, anger, bitterness or even an addiction?

So, let’s push the proverbial “pause bottom” for a moment and identify those freedoms.

As it says in Psalms 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

It’s so easy for us to miss all the miracles and answered prayers as we race from one obstacle to the next.

So, let’s take stock today and just thank the Lord! In accordance with Hebrews 13:15.

“Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name.”

Let me conclude by saying: let’s all keep knocking on His door by using that ATM card of prayer.  As, the Lord is not done freeing you or showering you with His wealth.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”-Mathew 7:7

Now that you got that attitude of gratitude on. Will you consider sharing the blessing He’s bestowed on you with your circle of influence?

As, we need to be bringers or Gods light amidst the darkness in accordance with Matthew 5:16

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Remember, you are an ambassador of God’s kingdom and His grace, so share your testimony of what God has set you free in order to encourage others into a relationship with their maker.  As it says in 2 Corinthians 5.

“We are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, Come back to God!”

I love you all!
